Well HTML5 is replacing it. Steve Jobs predicted this would happen when he claim Flash is a failure and HTML5 is the future. HTML5 did everything Flash could but better and it's open-source.

yeah but like what would happen to all the classic websites like this Miniclip and every other old website that runs on flash?
@BlackNeko @Thomas-Renini Most sites have already been transitioning to HTML5 including Newgrounds. There is already a few software that converts Flash to HTML5 or into a video format. Games that have ActionScript during the conversion need to be cleaned up and replace with Javascript. The only sad thing is the people who uploaded the flash and are long gone, won't be there to convert it. Yeah the website hosting it could, but the time and cost for them to do that outweighs the new content that are being created daily.
